Celebrating Seniors Fall Open Day

We are excited to host a special Seniors’ Open Day on Tuesday, October 15! This day is dedicated to our senior visitors, offering a peaceful and engaging experience surrounded by our donkeys.

Event Highlights:

  • Guest Speaker: Malcolm Bernstein
We are thrilled to welcome Malcolm Bernstein from The Benjamin Project as our special guest speaker at 1pm. Malcolm’s presentation will explore meaningful connections between animals and humans, and sharing the story of how The Benjamin Project came to be.

  • Explore the Sanctuary
Enjoy a leisurely walk around the sanctuary’s beautiful grounds, where you can meet and learn about our resident donkeys. Our knowledgeable volunteers will be on hand to provide insights into the donkeys’ lives and their care.

  • Relax and Unwind
The tranquil environment of the sanctuary provides a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We invite our seniors to soak in the peaceful atmosphere and simply enjoy the presence of our gentle donkeys.

Event Details:

  • Date: Tuesday, October 15
  • Time: 11am to 3pm
  • Location: The Donkey Sanctuary of Canada, Puslinch, Ontario
  • Admission: $15 seniors (ages 60+).  Non-seniors ($20) may attend if accompanied by a senior, but no children on this day please.

This day is designed to be both enriching and relaxing, giving seniors the opportunity to connect with nature, animals, and each other. Whether you’re a long-time supporter or a first-time visitor, we welcome you to enjoy this special day with us.

Join us for a memorable experience!
