Timbit

Before coming to The Donkey Sanctuary of Canada, Timbit lived on a farm in Central Ontario. His former owner had slowly been downsizing their farm and had noticed that their horses were starting to be aggressive towards Timbit. It was at that time that she contacted the DSC to see if we could provide a safe home for him. Timbit arrived in the spring of 2021.

Timbit was quite skittish and shy when he arrived at the DSC, but with the patience and calmness of our animal care staff, he has started to warm up to staff and volunteers. He has also made friends with two other miniature donkeys who are also very timid, Nelson and Ellie.
