Mocha

Mocha is a brown standard donkey, born in 2019.

Mocha came from a home in the Kawartha area, where she was housed with cattle as well as 10 of her donkey friends. Mocha and her friends had no adequate shelter, nutrition nor proper care.

When Mocha arrived at the DSC in the fall of 2021, she was quite unsure of her new life yet she was very brave and curious. It did not take very long for Mocha to become settled in her new life at the DSC.

Although she has made new friends, she could most often be found hanging out with her best and old friend Salsa.  In August 2024, Mocha and Salsa graduated together to a wonderful DSC Host Farm.
