Abigail (Abby)

Before coming to the DSC Abby lived on a farm in Southern Ontario. The donkey was a well-loved pet, and when her owner was no longer able to take care of her, the DSC was contacted and Abby arrived at the DSC in 2007.

Abby is extremely gentle and friendly, and will stand still for long periods of time, all the while enjoying the pats of attention from visitors, volunteers and staff.

Abby suffers from a skin sensitivity and seasonal allergies, for which she requires medical treatment to ease the discomfort.
