Polo

Before arriving at the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada (DSC) Polo, five donkey friends and one mule friend, lived on a farm in Southern Ontario. It was a very loving home. When the owner had to downsize their farm due to their own health, they contacted the DSC to inquire if we could take on the group of seven. They all arrived in the summer of 2024.

Polo has settled nicely here at the Sanctuary Farm. He is very curious and bold. He is often one of the first donkeys to greet anyone new in their paddock.  He can often be found hanging out with his friend, Marco.
