Carlos

For most of his life, Carlos lived on a farm in Eastern Ontario. Over the years, Carlos developed some behavioural problems that made him hard to handle. Because of that, the owners could not provide Carlos with the proper care and they decided to contact the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada to see if we could give Carlos a forever home. Carlos arrived at the DSC in the fall of 2020.

Carlos is a sweet donkey who loves to meet all the new friends in the paddocks. He is eager to announce himself with a very squeaky bray, to make sure everybody knows he is here.

In 2024, Carlos graduated to one of our excellent Host Farms, where is receiving wonderful care and attention.
