Visit the DSC

Every year, from the first Sunday in May to the last Sunday in October, the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada is open to the public. Visitors come from all over the world to visit with these gentle equines—and we look forward to seeing you, as well.

IMPORTANT: Driving directions update

A map to the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada which shows an update to the route including the new interchange on highway 6 near Guelph

Please note that Concession 4, Maltby Rd. and County Rd. 34 are all closed at Hwy. 6 due to recent road changes. The new interchange is now open, but we understand that it might be confusing for first-time visitors. To make your journey easier, here’s the best route:

➡️ If you’re using Hwy 6, exit at the new interchange and head west.
➡️ Continue down to County Rd 34 and head west.
➡️ Turn right onto 20 Side Rd to reach Concession 4 and turn left on Concession 4 to reach the DSC.
